MEN'S APPAREL DESIGNER

We are seeking a talented and experienced Men's Apparel Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in men's apparel design, with a focus on technical apparel. They should have a deep understanding of fabrics and the ability to conceptualize and create unique designs for the streetwear space. As a Men's Apparel Designer, you will be responsible for engaging in all aspects of the design process, from development through to production, ensuring the highest quality of our products.

This is a remote position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative design concepts for the Raised by Wolves line of apparel and accessories.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure a cohesive and complementary product line.
• Research and analyze performance fabrics to optimize functionality and style for the target market.
• Conceptualize and create unique designs, taking into account RBW’s brand DNA, customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
• Engage in all aspects of the design process from development through production, including mood-boarding, product sketching and development; fabric, trims and embellishment selection; tech-packing; reviewing samples and providing feedback for improvements.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and on schedule.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and communicate design rationale effectively.
• Participate in brand collaboration product meetings, sales meetings, and other events to stay current with market trends and gather customer feedback.
• Continuously explore and propose new design techniques, materials, and technologies to enhance the product offering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a dedicated designer of Men's Apparel.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims and embellishment techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
• Ability to create and present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to take initiative to drive projects to completion.
• Pattern making and sewing a plus.
